Large warehouse customers no longer accept a machine that merely "makes bags." They require the line to talk to the warehouse management system: wave-based counting, shipping-label printing and signal interlock with downstream sorting. This pushes builders to open standard communication interfaces in the control system, turning bag making into one node of warehouse automation.
